Bio-Tempera Encapsulation

(Resin-Encased Sewn Kombucha, Mushroom Leather, and Tempera)

These paintings investigate the suspension of organic processes within artificial systems. Through layered textures and biomorphic forms, they reflect the tension between body's feral freedom and societal control, inviting collectors to witness the delicate, often imperceptible rhythms of life violently immobilised within an imposed form. These works enact my obsession with plant leather, the unknown (think cosmos, ocean's abyss, or human soul) and mixing pigments.
